I had the most wonderful stay at a beautiful estate, where I was warmly welcomed by Thierry and Sylvie. After a long delay in my travel plans, they magically appeared and prepared an amazing breakfast by the pool for me. It truly felt like a little piece of heaven. The estate was surrounded by lush greenery and the aroma of jasmine and herbs filled the air. Thierry even took me on a tour of his herb and vegetable garden, explaining the varieties. The pool was sparkling clean and perfect for a refreshing swim. The breakfast spread was absolutely delicious, with croissants, homemade preserves, fresh fruit, and endless fresh coffee. I also enjoyed a peaceful walk around the lake, where I met the friendly donkeys. The attention to detail and the warm hospitality of Thierry and Sylvie made me feel right at home. I had a wonderful time at La Garde Pile De Fichou and I highly recommend it.

One feature of the hotel that stood out to me was the fishing lake. It was like a haven for avid anglers, with a variety of fish like carps, pikeperch, pike, perch, and white fish swimming in its waters. I had a fantastic time trying my luck at fishing and was amazed by the abundance of fish in the lake.
Limited housekeeping service.

The property is a traditional French country stay with a beautiful location. The pool is a relaxing haven and the hosts are friendly and accommodating. The breakfast by the pool is amazing with delicious homemade preserves and fresh ingredients. The greenery and aromatic herbs and flowers add to the charm of the estate. Looking forward to returning when the new wing is complete.

The next morning, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast by the pool, surrounded by the peaceful green setting and the beautiful lake. The pool was perfect and our children had a great time. The room was comfortable and the added bonus of Wi-Fi was a plus. I highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing overnight stop or a longer stay. We will definitely be back!
